Financial donations allow us to continue our essential mission of housing hundreds of women each year.  There is no such thing as a small donation. Every dollar is important and helps make a difference in the lives of women.

By giving to Le Chaînon, you are choosing to contribute to a more just and egalitarian society. Le Chaînon continues to exist after so many years, thanks to our generous donors.

You can support Le Chaînon Foundation by making a donation by credit card, in a simple, fast and secure manner.

After making your donation, you will instantly receive a confirmation email with a link to the official receipt  for donations of $20 or more.

In addition to contributing directly to the well-being of Le Chaînon’s women, this is a very practical and economical way of making a donation.

Monthly donation

 

Monthly donations help hundreds of women benefit from safe housing as well as assistance and support adapted to their needs, throughout the year.

Why choose to give monthly?

Simple, fast & flexible

  • You determine the amount you wish to donate each month. The donation is automatically withdrawn on the 15th of each month for credit card donations, and on the 20th for pre-authorized payments.
  • You will receive a single receipt for the total amount of our monthly contributions at the beginning of the following year.
  • You can change or cancel your monthly contribution at any time by contacting us by email or by phone

Gratifying & eco-friendly

  • You help the women of Le Chaînon in a concrete way by providing a source of funding on a regular basis.
  • You contribute to preserving the environment and helping us save on administrative and postal costs.

In Memoriam Donation

 

Make a donation in memory of a loved one and honour the highest values that he or she left to those around them.

We can also send “In Memoriam” donation forms to the funeral home of your choice.

Upon request, we will send a condolence card to the family informing them that you have made a donation in memory of a loved one.

Donation of goods for events

 

Are you a company or an individual who would like to make a donation of works of art, new clothing or anything else of value that could be sold at a Foundation fundraising event for the benefit of Le Chaînon women?

Donations by will

 

Donations by will are essential to the realization of our mission; they permit us to plan our activities and our development on a long-term basis.

 

Making a gift in your will is one of the simplest and most rewarding ways to support our organization. It is an extraordinary way to help women in insecure situations without prejudice to your loved ones and without changing your current standard of living.

 

Different options are available to you:
  • Donation by will (money, movable or immovable property, investments or securities);
  • Life insurance;
  • Retirement assets – RRSP and RRIF;
  • Charitable remainder trusts;

Third party activity

 

Are you interested in organizing an independent fundraising activity to help the women of Le Chaînon?

Every year, individuals, companies and associations mobilize around the cause of Le Chaînon by organizing their own fundraising activity for the benefit of the hundreds of women housed within our walls.

Whether it is a garage sale, an art auction or, for example, an online clothing sale, a percentage or all of the proceeds are donated to Le Chaînon Foundation or a tax receipt can be issued in accordance with the rules and regulations set out by the Canada Revenue Agency.
