The Grand Rendez-vous: An Evening to Change Lives

More than just a fundraising event, it is a powerful moment of solidarity, emotion, and commitment to women facing homelessness, violence, or extreme vulnerability. Together, we celebrate their strength, resilience, and courage.

For almost 95 years, Le Chaînon has welcomed the most vulnerable women in our society with dignity and compassion. Each year, more than 2,350 women find refuge, comfort, and a fresh start there. Your presence at the Grand Rendez-vous is a meaningful act that directly supports this essential mission.

A fundraising event honoring boldness, solidarity, and commitment

The Chaînon Foundation’s Grand Rendez-vous brings together nearly 400 guests from the business, cultural, and community sectors to celebrate the Chaînon’s mission and support vulnerable women.

This year, the evening centers on the theme of “Roots”, what grounds us and keeps us standing when everything wavers. For the women supported by the Chaînon, rediscovering their roots, strength, dignity, and sense of belonging lies at the very heart of their journey. The theme also reflects the paradoxical beauty of what emerges from adversity: just as the strongest trees grow in the harshest conditions, resilience blossoms in unexpected places.

The REMARKABLE WOMAN Award

Established in 2024 to mark the 10th anniversary of the Fondation Chaînon, the REMARKABLE WOMAN Award was created to honor women whose outstanding achievements have left a lasting mark on Québec and have contributed significantly to advancing the cause of women. These influential women—coming from diverse fields including business, arts and culture, science, and politics—have not only broken barriers, but also paved the way for future generations.

Through this award, we recognize not only their exceptional contributions, but also their role as inspiring role models. REMARKABLE WOMAN is an invitation to remember their accomplishments, celebrate their legacy, and encourage the women of today and tomorrow to follow in their footsteps, to innovate, and to dream big. By honoring these extraordinary women, we highlight the importance of their contributions while reaffirming our collective commitment to building a society where equality and opportunity are within everyone’s reach.
